Lake Champlain is North America's sixth largest lake (just behind the five Great Lakes). Whether you want to fish, swim, sail, or take a cruise, there are numerous ways to experience Lake Champlain. For relaxing, Burlington's North Beach is only minutes from downtown. To get around, the ferry system provides a unique addition to any trip.
You may also want to visit Shelburne. The town has three tourist attractions, the Shelburne Museum, Shelburne Farms and the Vermont Teddy Bear Company. The town also maintains a beach on Lake Champlain which has a boat launch and nature park.
